Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring in O'Fallon, MO
Our most-asked-for floor — 100% waterproof, kid- and pet-proof, with wood and stone looks convincing enough to fool the neighbors and tough enough for the whole house.
Wood looks, zero water worries.
If you love the look of wood but don't want to baby it, luxury vinyl plank (LVP) is the answer. It's 100% waterproof top to bottom, so it goes places real wood can't — kitchens, bathrooms, basements, mudrooms, or one continuous floor through the whole house.
It's warm and quiet underfoot, resists scratches and dents, and the printed wood and stone visuals have come a long way — most people can't tell it from hardwood until they're down on their knees looking.
Depending on the room it installs as a floating floor or glue-down, and it's the easiest floor on this list to live with day to day. It's the one we put in our own homes.
What you get with luxury vinyl.
100% waterproof
Spills, mopping, pet accidents and basement humidity — none of it fazes LVP. Install it anywhere.
Kid & pet proof
Scratch- and dent-resistant with a tough wear layer — it takes claws, toys and traffic in stride.
Warm & quiet
Softer and quieter underfoot than tile or laminate, with an attached pad on many styles.
Wood & stone looks
Realistic oak, hickory and stone visuals in wide planks and big tiles — genuinely convincing.
Luxury vinyl, answered.
Is luxury vinyl really 100% waterproof?
Yes — the plank itself won't swell or warp from water, which is why it's safe in kitchens, baths and basements. (Big floods still need drying underneath, but everyday spills and mopping are no problem.)
Can I put it in a basement?
Absolutely — basements are one of LVP's best uses. It handles concrete and humidity that would ruin solid hardwood or swell laminate, and it feels warmer underfoot than tile.
How does it hold up to pets?
Very well. The wear layer resists claw scratches and the waterproof core shrugs off accidents. It's the floor we most often recommend for dog owners.
Can you install it over my existing tile or floor?
Often, yes — LVP can float over many flat, sound surfaces with the right prep. We'll check levelness and transitions at the free measure and tell you exactly what's needed.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in one to a few days depending on square footage and prep. We'll give you a firm timeline with your quote.
